Clinic Cat/Official Greeter/Treat Thief
If you have ever visited our practice, there's a fair chance you may have met our Clinic Cat, Doc! Doc came to us as a tiny, sickly kitten after he turned up on one of our groomers' porches late one night in 2023. We took him in and nursed him back to health, and named him "Doc" in honor of our original practice owner, Dr. Frank "Doc" McLaughlin. Some of Doc's most important job duties include greeting patients, offering emotional support snuggles to clients (and staff!), and "cleaning" the exam rooms by eating all the leftover treats! If you're wondering about the device on his collar, Doc wears an invisible fence collar to prevent him from going out the front door and into non "cat-proof" areas of the hospital. He can often be found hanging out in his cat tree by the front window, trying to play with patients under the exam room doors, or upstairs in our breakroom begging for a taste of the team's lunch.
